Nepal Investment Bank announces 20% stock & 21% cash dividend; Paid up capital to reach Rs 8.7 arba

Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB) has decided to distribute 20 percent bonus share and 21 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.

The BOD meeting held on Bhadra 6, 2073 has proposed 20 percent bonus share and 21 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73.

However, the decision is subjected to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Last year, NIB had distributed 33% bonus share to its shareholders from the profit it made in 2071/72 FY.

NIB had earned net profit of Rs 2.59 arba in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs 7.25 arba and after the issuance of 20% bonus share the paid up capital will rise to Rs 8.7 arba.
